Building an online real-estate portal from scratch
I had the chance to join this start-up before the product was even launched. This case study will focus on the redesign of the search system of Realo.

Project for Realo where I worked as a Product Designer between Dec 2014 and Jan 2017. I worked on that project in the end of 2016 for 2 months.

About the product
Realo is an online real estate marketplace. They help people to buy or rent properties online by providing them access to relevant listings enriched with local data and social content.
I worked on different projects like making a design system that can be used across different platforms, working on a flow to put your property on sale or to rent, designing a new search experience to find your next home.
Goals
After doing some research and discovering the main problems (analysing product usage data, conducting user interviews, doing competitor research) together with the VP of Product, we defined some goals:
Improve the overal search experience
Make the search results more location-driven
Users weren't able to filter properly and the search filters weren't conveying for all our different audiences
Fix the usability issues on mobile and tablet
